The Danish Minister of Environment visited HansenProfile on 7th July 2009 in order to see the impressive and future oriented product development undertaken by HansenProfile on our 3rd Generation Window (3G) system. Hansen 3G has been designed to offer a unique window with insulation, sunscreen, ventilation and sound reduction properties. Worked examples have been calulated with builders, where the investement in 3G is cheaper than the investment in a "normal" facade combined with mechanical ventilation; and this does not take into account the yearly savings on energy costs from the mecanical ventilation system and the associated environmental benefits. Our newly developed window and door system, Hansen XFrame, was also on the agenda, and all were impressed with the U-value performance. The Hansen XFrame window/door system has a superb "energy" performance in the sense that is offers near perfect insulation in a 3 glass layer solution.
